THE service station today
The Service Station was born from a love for Louisville’s past and a vision for its future. Chef Kendell Sheppard and Kevin Brackens AKA The Food Peddler have a passionate relationship with food, community, and history. They have transformed this former fueling station into a gathering place for all. Here, you’ll find familiar Southern flavors reimagined, a lively late-night scene, and a welcoming space for everyone.

The Service Station is located in a former historical fueling station, hence the name "The Service Station". Our building is full of rich Old Louisville history & is adored by many of our patrons, whom frequently snap photos!
